ARTWORK

Behind the Layers

ART-WA-0028

The rich layers of colour surrounding the face feel like traces of past experiences and inner stories. Behind tangled lines and bold painterly surfaces, a calm, reflective gaze holds the portrait's centre. The artwork invites us to look beyond the surface, where every lived experience becomes another layer of self-knowledge.
